Recurring theme

Ephesians 3-20-21

20Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.


God is at work within us even when we are not aware. We've talked and though about this many times so I suppose you could call it a recurring theme. One of the reasons I believe it keeps coming to the surface in my life is to give me assurance that He never quits. We may have times in our lives that we are not as close to Him as we should be, but He is always there waiting for us to come to Him. Sometimes we might feel our prayers aren't getting answered, but He is always working.

knowing He is always working on us provides us with an element of Hope doesn't it...this is very exciting to me, but I need to learn to apply it to the here and now instead of thinking about it as a future turn of events...every morning when we wake up is a new day to aspire toward how He would have us to be...and so His work continues...each day, every day...
a lovely thought.

I really, really like the Hydrangea painting...it's VERY beautiful.

never quits.....have you ever listened to the song "never let go" by the david crowder band, phyllis? it is my all time favorite right now....brings tears every time i hear it.
and being as hydrangeas are my most favorite of flowers....i LOVE the painting!

Phyllis you so amaze me, you know what to write just at the right time when I need to read, I dont always Thank him for allowing me to be able to get up, go to work, come home to messy house, I just take it all for granted, and you know I love him so much and I have so much to be thankful for and to know he dosent give up, but father's dont ever give up on their children, they try and lead us on the right path and its up to us which way we chose to go, but if it's the wrong way he was still working on us all the way.....

your a beautiful person!
