What a relief

Romans 8:26-27

26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.

Do you ever wonder if you are praying for the right thing? I do. Well, here's the answer to the problem... the Spirit intercedes for us... makes our words in accordance with God's will. So, no matter what our weakness might be, no matter that we don't know what to pray, so no matter if they are spoken or unspoken, God hears just the right prayer.

What a relief.

this is a good thing to know because sometimes I fail to mention a few specifics about my prayer while I'm praying...

your grandchildren are so adorable Phyllis...would love to see the outcome of those curlers!

Today was hard. I thought it might be easier, but it wasn't.
