Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have; for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
I know in the he back of my head, and sometimes the front of my head, what's happening to my 401K right this very minute bothers me. The problem with being content with what I have is my need to hold on to what I have if that makes any sense at all. I worry and I am afraid for myself, others and our country.
We are promised that we would never be left alone or that He would ever forsake us. I know I trust the promises of God. I take a deep breath with the assurance He knows everything about me and will take care of me. In God I trust.
