I bloom really good about once a year and the rest of the time I'm just soaking up nurishment to make another bloom. Every once in a while I might say or do something really spectacular but for the most part I'm just green, thinking, learning, growing and waiting for a time I can do or say something that will be meaningful or helpful to those that might walk across the path where I live.

I too am very glad to be part of God's plan, His puzzle of sorts that makes all of us fit together and make a beautiful garden.

I planted some of those azaleas that bloom twice a year, so I guess there is hope that one day there will be azaleas that bloom all the time. :) Just thinking about the energy that would take makes me tired. Perhaps I should just stick with being the blooming once a year type.Phyllis Russell Franklinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06545981965737938065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4902772127612703887.post-63437913651986344322008-09-11T12:07:00.000-04:002008-09-11T12:07:00.000-04:00This is how I feel about my homeless friends...som...This is how I feel about my homeless friends...some are a little trampled on and some are missing a petal or two, but individually they add extraordinary color to the bouquet. I'm just hoping a little living water will freshen their stance and help them realize that they are a flower in God's garden...currently there are so many weeds holding them down.

This is a lovely post. I think I'd be a daisy, plain and simple. What flower are you in God's garden, Phyllis?Joni https://www.blogger.com/profile/01471677167011145245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4902772127612703887.post-54683138367293725612008-09-10T12:29:00.000-04:002008-09-10T12:29:00.000-04:00That made me cry....I have a God daughter who has ...That made me cry....I have a God daughter who has down syderome and some people will just look at her with kind of a pity look and some will smile and a few will talk, if people only knew the joy and love she brings other's, I think of her often at work and my heart beats faster and I smile, God only gives those gifts to extra specail people, and one day when my children are out of the house, I want to be a foster mother to a downs syderome child.
