Full Circle

For eyerything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1

It's finally fall here in Georgia. The air is crisp and there is talk of frost. The trees know it and are turning all colors and getting ready for a winter's rest so they can have strength to start anew in spring and shade us in summer.

Our lives run in cycles too. It's God's Spirit that helps us through them, helps us grow and mature using each cycle for our good. It's fun to think about us starting out like little seeds nurtured by God helping us through the trials of our lives to make us wiser and complete in Him. Each cycle has a purpose fitting us in the larger plan He has for all of us and each cycle builds on the next making a full circle to repeat over and over until the "season" is finished.

It doesn't really matter what "season" we happen to be in. God sees and works in our lives even when we are not aware. This past week has been a busy week for me. Terri and the girls spent the entire week with me as Brent went on a misson trip to help build houses in Mississippi. It was a wonderful week for all of us and now the house is much too quiet. It's another cycle come and gone. I smile and look forward to daybreak to see what God will show me this day on this wonderful earth.
